Meeting rooms

The library meeting rooms across all libraries have been reorganized to account for the rules about distance and social gatherings. This means it is now possible to book the meeting rooms through the library website as usual. The guidelines from the authorities concering social gatherings must be followed, even if the meeting rooms usually have space for more people.

At www.koldingbib.dk/lokalebooking you can find information about all our meeting rooms (in Danish), before you choose one to book.

Be advised that the library meeting rooms in Christiansfeld, Vamdrup and Lunderskov are currently only available for use during the staffed opening hours.

Please consider visiting the library in the beginning or end of the opening hours, to prevent the formation of a queue in the middle of the day.

You can pick up and return library items at the library stations as before the lockdown. The opening hours in Sdr. Bjert are all weekdays from 8 am to 2 pm.

Please remember to keep your distance, and remember that the materials are available for pick-up from 1 pm on the collection date stated in your pick-up notification, since our staff need to drop off the materials.

Find a library station near you on our website: www.koldingbib.dk/biblioteksstationerne

Please remember to bring your reservation number or use our app

If you wish to collect a reserved item, it is important that you bring the number stated in your pick-up notification that you receive, when an item is ready for pick-up. You cannot collect an item, if you have not received a pick-up notification.

In Kolding Library, you can collect any materials that were ready for pick-up before the library lockdown until and including May 25. In the local libraries, the materials will be available until and including May 28.

Exemption from charges

Until June 15, no additional fees will be charged if items are returned past the due date. Hence, it is okay to wait a few days to visit the library, if you only need to return materials – or you can use the outdoor check-in robot in Kolding.

Clear out your old reservations

Remember back when you made a reservation on the newest crime novel or materials for your school assignment? If you still need these items, no problem, but if you read them online, borrowed it from a friend, or just do not need them anymore, please delete your reservation.

You can access your reservations with our app. Download it in App Store or Google Play – it is called “Biblioteket”. (The app is only available in Danish.)

You can also visit your profile on koldingbib.dk.
